Jorell Williams

Jorell Williams is a lyric-baritone with a wide variety of experience from standard repertoire to premiere pieces, performing in collaboration with the Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center Theater, Seattle Opera, Vancouver Opera, New York City Opera, Atlanta Opera, On-Site Opera, Urban Arias, Opera Columbus, Caramoor International Music Festival, Fort Worth Opera, and Finger Lakes Opera.

He begins the 2021 – 2022 season with the world premiere of A More Perfect Union with the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, Händel’s Messiah with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, H.M.S. Pinafore with Vancouver Opera, and the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon and Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel at Lincoln Center Theater.

Jorell Williams is an advocate for artist rights and is a newly appointed Artistic Council Advisor for On-Site Opera, as well as the New Music Board for the Brooklyn Art Song Society, using his experience to consult with arts organizations on their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
