Dominic Veilleux. Bass-baritone
Baritone Dominic Veilleux is graduated from Conservatoire de musique de Québec, where he was seen as Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Brunner (Les trois valses) and lead roles (Alexina Louie’s Burnt toast). Recently, he sang the role of Leporello on tour with Jeunesses Musicales Canada. Other operatic roles include: Bottom, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Université de Montréal), Fiorello, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Marco, Gianni Schicchi, D’Estillac, La veuve joyeuse (Opéra de Québec) and Papageno, Die Zauberflöte, (Prague Summer Nights). In concert, Veilleux appeared as a soloist in Mozart, Fauré and Duruflé’s Requiem, as well as in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
