David Eliakis

Performances

As a sought-after voice coach, host and lecturer, pianist David Eliakis has collaborated with world-renown artists such as Warren Jones, Julius Rudel, and Sir Martin Isepp. His performances have taken him to the stages of Northern Ireland, Brazil, Switzerland, England, Germany, and across Canada. A faculty member of The Royal Conservatory of Music, David also shares his time with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music, and was an active member of Against The Grain Theatre for over 5 years as host and pianist of their Opera Pubs as well as an Artistic Associate. As a lecturer he speaks passionately about singers from the past as well as lesser-known composers and works. David’s last collaboration with Tapestry Opera was in 2018 as curator and pianist for their Tap This! Queers Crash the Opera concert as well as Teiya Kasahara’s The Queen In Me.
