Louise Beck

Louise has a background in set design, costume design, and lighting design. She has worked on both classical and new pieces at The Royal Opera in Copenhagen, The Danish National Opera, The Danish National Theatre, Melbourne Town Hall, Gothenburg Opera, and most fringe theatres in Denmark. Since graduating from the Wimbledon School of Art in London, she has gradually transitioned into directing and has been staging productions for OPE-N and other companies. Besides her artistic work, she has also served as a project manager for the Nordic Council of Ministers and as Head of the Scenography department at both the Danish National Theatre School in Copenhagen and the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Since 2018, Louise Beck has held the position of guest professor at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch.
