Winner of the Emerging Artist Award at the 2019 Récital-Concours International de mélodies françaises, soprano Ellen Wieser’s performances have been described as “ethereal”, “powerful yet lucid”, and “silvery bright”.

Career highlights include a soloist debut with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra debut under the baton of Jacques Lacombe (Brahms Ein deutches Requiem), solo appearances at the Jeonju International Sori Festival and with the Korea Union Orchestra in South Korea, Steve Reich’s Tehillim with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and creation of the role of Ruth Bader-Ginsburg (Scalia-Ginsburg, world premiere) at the Castleton Festival in Virginia. She is a graduate of the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Opera Program.
