Amy Moodie

Amy Moodie is thrilled to be participating in New Opera 101 and Songbook XI with Tapestry Opera! Ms. Moodie rang in 2020 by being selected as the winner of the Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition. Most recently, Ms. Moodie performed the roles Mabel in COSA Canada’s virtual production of The Pirates of Penzance and Despina in a socially distant outdoor concert of Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte. She also created an online performance for A Good Mess Opera Theatre’s A Good Haunting.

Ms. Moodie is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music where she was a two-time recipient of the prestigious Richard Bradshaw Fellowship in Opera (2016-2018). In the fall of 2019, she was selected as a finalist and winner of two prizes at the American International Czech and Slovak Voice Competition (2019).

Upcoming: Ms. Moodie is excited to be singing the role of Franzi in Toronto Operetta Theatre’s production of A Waltz Dream!
