Cristina Paoletta

Cristina Paoletta fell in love with West Side Story, the first musical she ever saw and knew singing in the theatre would be her future. Cristina has performed in opera concerts, musicals and recitals. Cristina performs such roles as The Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Liu (Turandot), Despina (Cosi Fan Tutte), Michaele (Carmen), Blanche (Streetcar Named Desire), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare) and more.

As an equal lover of both operatic and music theatre repertoire, Cristina’s vocal and dramatic versatility has allowed her to portray the roles of Francesca (Bridges of Madison County), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Witch (Into the Woods), Woman 1 (Closer than Ever).

She currently lives in Nobleton, Ontario and is also a voice teacher with the TCDSB, teaching vocal music to primary and junior grades.
