Gregory Harrison

Performances

Gregory Harrison is a Toronto-based music producer, sound designer, audio engineer, composer, and educator whose work spans studio and media production across indie, pop, rock, metal, and classical genres. He is currently a Professor at Humber Polytechnic, where he teaches Audio Production for Video Games.

Greg composed, recorded, and mixed Lighthouse, which received East Coast Music Awards for Classical Recording of the Year and Classical Composer of the Year. His audio work has been featured in Popsy (Popular Demand Pictures), Kim’s Convenience (CBC Gem), and France’s Got Talent. He has also created commissioned works for Soft Rains Games (Ambrosia Sky), Pixelmatic, Toronto Dance Theatre, ProArteDanza, Architek Percussion, Fifth Wind Quintet, Frank Media, and Hemmings House Productions.

As a performer, Gregory has toured internationally with Jeremy Dutcher, Cirque du Soleil, Taktus Marimba Duo, Mear, and Video Games Live, appearing at venues and events including Massey Hall, NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, the JUNO Awards, and The Kennedy Center. Praised by Bob Boilen of NPR as a “percussion and electronics wizard,” Gregory’s work explores the intersection of organic and electronic sound through performance, composition, and music technology.
