Nicole Ross

“C’est vraiment jolie, une belle voix” (CBC Radio Canada).

Soprano Nicole Ross has been praised for her “simple acting and gorgeous vocal tone.” She is a recent graduate of McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, and currently studies with Mezzo-Soprano Ariane Girard.

Nicole’s Opera credits include Suzanne in Schubert’s La Croisade des Dames, Grace Davis in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, and Flora in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw with Opera McGill. This fall Nicole was an emerging artist in residence at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance and received support from the Canada Council for the Arts to perform works composed by women. Nicole has also been named a RBC Young Artist Fellow with the Association for Opera in Canada.

In 2022 Nicole looks forward to performing the role of Musetta in La bohème at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance.
