Tiago Delgado

Brazilian-Canadian clarinetist Tiago Delgado promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion through collaborative music-making. He is a Teaching Artist at Toronto Sistema Academy. As Teaching Artist, he has also worked with the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (Sistema NB) and the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine through Project: Music Heal Us / Novel Voices: Distance Learning, and has taught at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Tiago has performed in chamber and orchestral settings at festivals such as 21C Music Festival, Ottawa Chamberfest, Stratford Summer Music, Toronto Summer Music, Festival of the Sound, and Orford Winds, and has toured major concert halls in Brazil, including Sala São Paulo. He holds a Doctorate in Clarinet Performance from the University of Toronto and has studied at the Jacobs School of Music (Indiana University), Kent State University, and UFMG in Brazil
