Can I exchange my ticket for another performance?

Yes! If you can’t make your scheduled performance, you may exchange your ticket for another performance of the same production within the run, subject to availability. Please contact the Box Office at least 3 hours in advance to arrange an exchange

Can I exchange my ticket for a different Tapestry Opera show?

No. Exchanges are only permitted within the same production run. Tickets cannot be transferred to future Tapestry Opera productions or any other performances at the Nancy & Ed Jackman Performance.

I’m running late—can I still see the show?

We cannot guarantee latecomer seating for each performance. This is subject to the nature of the production and will be communicated on the production page on the Tapestry website. After the latecomer seating window closes, late arrivals will not be admitted to the auditorium to ensure the safety of performers and audience members, and to prevent disruption during the performance. Please plan to arrive early! 

Refunds & Donations

What is your refund policy?

Single tickets : All sales are final, we cannot offer refunds.

I’m a subscriber. Can I refund my ticket?

Subscribers have the flexibility to convert individual tickets into a donation at any time, even within the 24-hour window or after the performance. We do not offer refunds.

Group Sales

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes! We offer special pricing for groups of 10 or more. Whether you’re organizing a corporate outing, a school trip, or a night out with friends, you will get 15% off your order.

Can I pay for group tickets in installments?

Yes! Group sales can be paid in installments to accommodate your budget. A deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. Please contact us first to discuss payment plan options and arrange your group booking.

How do I book a group?

Contact our Box Office to discuss availability, pricing, and any special accommodations your group may need. We recommend booking early to secure the best seats together.

Discounted Tickets

Do you offer accessible pricing?

Yes! We are committed to making opera accessible. Select $15 tickets are available for purchase for every performance to ensure financial accessibility. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you offer discounts for arts workers?

Yes! Arts workers receive 25% off regular ticket prices. Use promo code ARTSWORKER at checkout.

Do you offer discounts for students?

Yes! Students receive 50% off regular ticket prices. Use promo code TAPSTUDENT at checkout.

General Ticketing Questions

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased:

  • Online at tapestryopera.com 
  • By phone: 416-537-6606 x108 (Box Office hours: Monday–Friday, 12pm–5pm)
  • In person at 877 Yonge Street (1 hour before performances)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit). Cash and Debit purchases only available in person. Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

How will I receive my tickets?

All tickets are delivered via email. You may print your tickets or display the barcode on your mobile device at the door. Please ensure your screen brightness is turned up if using a mobile ticket.

What if I lose my tickets or forget them?

No problem! We can send your tickets to your email free of charge. Alternatively you can check in at the Box Office upon arrival with your name. 

Accessibility & Accommodations

Do you offer accessible seating?

Yes. Accessible seating is available at all venues. Please contact the Box Office in advance to ensure we can accommodate your needs.

Do you offer companion tickets for support persons?

Yes. Visitors with disabilities pay regular admission, and the support person’s ticket is complimentary. Tickets must be booked in advance to guarantee availability.

Do you offer assistive listening devices?

At the moment no.

Are large print programs available?

Large-print programs are available upon request. To receive one, please get in touch with our Box Office.

At the Performance

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early to allow time for parking, picking up tickets, and finding your seat. The house opens approximately 30 minutes before curtain.

What is your photography/recording policy?

The use of cameras, video cameras, or sound-recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited during performances. This includes cell phones. Please silence all electronic devices before the performance begins.

Is there a dress code?

No formal dress code! Come as you are!
