Donna Michelle St. Bernard

Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, aka Belladonna the Blest, is an emcee, playwright and agitator. Libretti include Forbidden (Afarin Mansouri/Tapestry Opera), Oubliette and Nucleosynthesis (Ivan Barbotin/Tapestry Opera), and S.O.S. (Various/Tapestry Opera). Works for the stage include Cake, Sound of the Beast, A Man A Fish, Salome’s Clothes, Gas Girls, Give It Up, The Smell of Horses, Diggers, and The First Stone. She has been a story editor for Baroness von Sketch, editor of three anthologies for Playwrights Canada Press, and resident artist with the National Arts Centre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Dynamo Theatre, and LuminaTO Festival. DM is currently an associate artist at lemonTree Creations and artistic director of New Harlem Productions.
