Named one of CBC Music’s 30 hot classical musicians under 30 in 2021, Canadian baritone Korin Thomas-Smith has been carving a career across North America. Korin joins the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio in 2023, following his time as a Young Artist at the Glimmerglass Festival performing as Argante in their production of Rinaldo.
Korin is an alumnus of the University of Toronto Opera School, the Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program, and Yale University. Korin has also participated as a Fellow at the Music Academy of the West and the Ravinia Steans Music Institute.
